Avoiding Unwanted OSA Attention

For those of us who really would like to remain Anonymous - and that should be pretty much all of us - here are some extremely valuable tips and tricks.

The quick run down:

So here's a few ideas to help protect your identity for the Clearwater 3/15 protest:

1) Have your materials photocopied well ahead of time. I wouldn't put it past OSA to have someone hanging out at local Kinkos to get the license plate number of anyone photocopying Anon handouts. And whatever you do, don't try to photocopy them in downtown Clearwater where most businesses are sino-owned. A good idea would be a self-service copier in a library, retail or grocery store. The best idea would be to print them on your home PC printer.

2) Don't drive your own vehicle downtown for the protest, take the bus. But if you do drive your own vehicle park at least a couple miles away and walk to the protest.

3) Make sure you're not followed when you leave the protest. And don't expose your face, approach your vehicle or residence until you're 100% sure it's safe. If you think you're being followed by a sino on foot or in a vehicle, make a few right or left turns in a row, then duck out sight and see if they follow. If you can't shake the tail, call the Pinellas County Sheriff's Department at 582-6200 and tell them you're being stalked, then wait for the authorities to arrive. I would not recommend calling the Clearwater PD unless the Sheriff's Dept says it's not their jurisdiction.

4) Cover any distinguishing tattoos, scars, piercings, etc.

Thanks to ClearwaterAnon from the Enturbulation forums for the TL;DR version of things. ;)
